Bronx Parent Conference

Parents and educators are natural allies in the effort to provide the best education to our children. The UFT works closely with thousands of parents across the city to help ensure that their children and all New York City students receive a great education.

Our parent support team

The UFT offers support to parents in every borough. Our parent and community outreach work is led by Nicholas Cruz, who works out of the union’s main office, and carried out at the borough level by five full-time parent liaisons. Parent liaisons can schedule workshops, informational meetings and networking opportunities for groups and individuals.

To find out what’s available and to ask other questions, contact the UFT parent and community liaison in the borough where you live or where your child attends school.
